Amine Ethoxylates

Fernamine ethoxylated amines are surfactants produced by ethoxylation of coco, tallow, di-tallow, and soy amines.   These surfactants tend to be cationic in nature, especially at low ethoxylation degrees.   When the degree of ethoxylation increases, the surfactants take on nonionic characteristics and become excellent emulsifiers for a variety of chemical applications.

Ethoxylated amine surfactants are commonly used as emulsifiers and solubilizers to stabilize dispersions and antistat additives.  Fernamine products are also used in textile lubricants, friction modifying additives, dyeing auxiliaries, degreasing additives, insecticide and herbicide products, and various detergent formulations for contributing antistatic properties. Sometimes Fernamine is also called Rhodameen, Jeetox, Ultramina, and Genamin.

The Fernamine products range in degrees of ethoxylation from 2-20 moles of ethylene oxide.  For a product recommendation, please contact your Silver Fern Chemical sales representative.
