Metallic Stearates
Metallic stearates are compounds of long-chain fatty acids with metals of different valences.
The most common metallic stearates, are the metallic stearates of calcium, magnesium , zinc, potassium and sodium. The main advantage is their wide range of use. The most important applications are: lubricating properties, separating properties, water repellence, gelling capacity, plastic stabilization, foam inhibition, and acid scavenging.
