applications:

It can be used in paint formulations and as a carrier fluid in film coatings. Dioxolane is also an effective solvent for dissolving polar polymers, including polyesters, epoxies, urethanes, and polyacrylamide.

1,3-Dioxolane may be considered as a suitable replacement for NMP (N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone) or THF (Tetrahydrofuran). Users would need to make this determination themselves.
