ENVIROCOL™ 609

ENVIROCOL™ 609  is a clear, colorless surfactant.  It is part of the Envirocol family; showing a relatively low viscosity and cloud point.

ENVIROCOL™ 609  is a nonionic surfactant that is widely used as a direct replacement for NP9 and NP10. It’s cloud point equals that of NP9, but it shows better handling characteristics such as the fact that it dissolves much faster in cold water and that it has a lower pour point and viscosity.  ENVIROCOL™ 609  is used in a wide range of industries and applications; most commonly as a wetting agent or dispersion aid. It can also be used as an emulsifier. It is the ideal replacement for applications requiring NP9 or NP10, since no other components of existing formulas have to be changed when subsituting NP9 or NP10 with ENVIROCOL™ 609.
