Glycol Ether TPM is a colorless, combustible liquid with low toxicity. It has very little odor and is completely soluble in water. It has excellent solvency for many polar and non-polar substances. It also has a very low vapor pressure and may not be considered a VOC under some circumstances of use.
Glycol Ether TPM is an ideal choice when high polymer solvency and extended system residence time are required. It can maintain rheological properties over time in ink applications. Its high boiling and flash points make it an excellent choice for use in oven cleaners, and as a tailing solvent in high-solids, solvent-based coatings.
