Glycol Ether PPH CAS: 770-35-4
Glycol Ether PPH, also known as Propylene Glycol Phenyl Ether, is a slow evaporating glycol ether. The substance is a clear, slightly yellow liquid and it’s odor is low and faint. It is very hydrophobic, while it’s molecular weight is heavier than other similar solvents. These distinctive qualities make Glycol Ether PPH an excellent choice for phenolic linings and coatings as well as a coalescent for acrylic- based latexes.
Glycol Ether PPH is commonly used in various dyeing applications, as a dye solubilizer and a dye carrier. It is often used as a carrier solvent for textile dyes and as a solvent for inks in felt tip and ball point pens as well as in stamp pads and textile printing pastes. In the coating industry it finds use as a coalescent for latex adhesives and as a latex coalescent in water based coatings. Other applications include paint removers and metal working fluids as a useful ingredient when formulating homogeneous and stable metalworking fluids.
We have helped multiple customers, from small end users to large Fortune 500 customers, with their Glycol Ether PPH supply requirements and can ship bulk and various packaged products to meet such needs.
